Words to Know
Toe Out: The front of the wheel points away from the center of the vehicle.
Toe In: The front of the wheel points in towards the center of the vehicle.
Bump Steer: A bump steer condition occurs when the wheels turn on their own without driver input as the wheel moves up or down in the fender well. This causes the vehicle to wander. Bump steer can also cause the car to dart one direction or another based on the severity of the mismatched steering geometry.Bump steer is basically a unstable condition.
