Rear Lower Control Arms (Trailing Arms) 1973-1977 for A-Bodies #TBC-13

Global West Suspension manufactures replacement (trailing) rear lower control arms for the 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977 Chevelle, El Camino, Malibu, Monte Carlo, Skylark, Special, Grand Prix, Monte Carlo, Century, 442, Grand Sport, Sport Wagon, and F-85.

The lower arms are constructed out of two inch round tubing and have a Del-a-lum bushing in one end and a spherical bearing on the other. The arms have provisions for a sway bar and include hardware for the sway bar.

The Global West Advantage: Bushings and Bearings

The spherical bearings is installed on the frame side and a Del-A-Lum bushing on the rear end side. The bearing allows the arm to pivot through the suspension travel without bind. This removes any twisting loads exerted by the arm on the frame mount. Del-A-Lum bushings installed on the other side of the arm provide lateral control. The combination will make the car launch straighter at the drag strip and increase cornering ability. The lower arm is dual purpose, used for street, drag and handling.

Note: Installing these arms will help in many different driving conditions, they will stabilize the rear around corners, reduce wheel hop, and improve straight line stability.
