Product Overview: 1967-1974 Upper Control Arms with Polyurethane Bushings for Camaro, Nova, Firebird, Ventura, Omega and Apollo
Global West Suspension tubular upper control arms are available in several different varieties. Made for the 1967, 1968, and 1969 Camaro/Firebird; 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974 Nova, Ventura; 1973, 1974 Omega and Apollo, these particular control arms are equipped with polyurethane rather than Del-a-lum bushings.
Enthusiasts opt for this package because the control arm is compatible with polyurethane bushings or stock rubber. Some owners want stock rubber in their front suspension but still want the performance gains of the tubular arm geometry. This kit part # CTA-79AP can do that.
The Global West Advantage:
1.G-PLUS arms can be used with stock, 2 inch drop spindles, and ATS spindles.
2. The arms have additional caster built into the them and an improved camber curve. The combination keeps the tire flatter on the pavement.
3. A bump stop is installed on the control arm eliminating the stock one on the frame. Many of the bump stops are missing on the frames. The bump stop protects the upper ball joint from over travel.
4. The arms are shipped assembled with billet cross shafts, ball joints, bushings and bump stops.
