Description
Global West Suspension manufactures tubular inner shock tower supports for the 1967, 1968, 1969, and 1970 Mustang.
The inner support installs on the wheel side (not the engine side) and replaces the factory stamp unit. Global West raises the bump stop location on the support. The reason for the change is to provide more suspension travel on lowered vehicles. This is especially useful if you are using a coilover front suspension or if the amount of available drop is greater then one inch. Note: Shock travel with a standard type front suspension should be checked to make sure the shock does not bottom before the bump stop does when using this support.
The ts-70t brace also provides two locations for the bump stop position. This is so it accommodates Global West Plus 3 upper control arms or the standard Ford upper arm.
