Description
Global West offers a modified the lower control arm for 1962, 1963,1964, and 1965 Ford Falcons. The modification is a base plate welded to the bottom of the arm that boxes in the control arm. The rubber bushing is replaced with a housing that has a spherical bearing installed. The bearing allows the arm to pivot freely without bind plus eliminates defection at the bushing location thus keeping the alignment more precise. This modification to the arm does not generate harshness.
Note: Drag racers will have an advantage using these lower arms because the bearing does not have any drag to speak of.
Installation is as simple as changing the stock lower arm.
The ball joint is serviced only as a complete arm.
Legal for most racing classes.
