Global West Suspension sells Wilwood 12 inch front disc brake conversion kits for the Chevelle, El Camino, Malibu, Monte Carlo–model years 1964,1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, and 1972. The 12 inch kit includes aluminum hubs, bearings, seals, non-cross drilled rotors, 4 piston calipers, brake pads, aluminum hats, and hardware.

Kit Features:
Brake upgrades are simple with Wilwood disc brakes.This particular kit is a 13 inch disc conversion, and the 13 and 14 inch kits come with piston calipers.
The kit will bolt on to stock drum or disc brake factory spindles. It will also bolt on to our replacement stock and two inch drop spindles. The 12 inch is best suited for 16 inch wheels and bigger.
Installation Tips:
Installation will require a disc brake master cylinder if you are converting over from drum. You will also need a proportioning valve. The hard line from the master to the proportioning valve is generally custom built by the installer. Braided steel lines from the hard line to the caliper are extra. We offer kits for easy installation (part # DB-50).
Note: Calipers are available in different colors — please contact us for a quote. All this is offered in a package that includes the 13 inch disc, master, proportioning valve, braided line, and with or without a new spindle. Drilled and slotted rotors are now shipped black coated
