Description
A quick and inexpensive way of lifting your car is by using a coil spring spacer. The spacers are installed between the coil spring and the shock tower, not in between the coils. The car will raise twice the height of the spacer. Therefore this 3/4 inch spacer equals about 1 1/2 inch of ride height change at the wheel. The spacer sits on top of the spring and does not change the spring rate. It simply raises the car.
Global West Suspension sells coil spring spacers for the 1964, 1965, and 1966 Mustang. Spacers are used:
- To raise ride height if it is too low
 - To level the car if it tilts to one side
 - For weight jacking if the car is being raced

Coil spring spacers are installed between the coil spring and the shock tower.
We offer three different sizes of polyurethane spacers for the application:
-
- 1/2 inch spacer = approximate 1 inch ride height change

-
- 3/4 spacer = approximate 1-1/2 inch ride height change

- 1 inch spacer = approximate 2 inch raise
