Kent: I have owned this 1960 Impala for 19 years. Ever since I bought the car from day one, I didn't like how the steering felt and performed. I have been trying to upgrade the steering over the years with many different systems. I installed and experimented with many different steering boxes with different ratios and even rack and pinion. Yes, the steering got better, but just wasn't the ideal setup.
I just installed the 59-64 Impala bump steer kit. This is the system I have been looking for all this time! This is the best the car has driven and performed! What a nice driving experience it is now. Beautiful handling on the highway and zero bump steer.
