Global West offers heavy duty lower control arms for Air Bag applications on 1971-76 Impala, Caprice, Riviera and other B-body.
The lower control arm (for airbag applications) has a mount that accommodates an airbag resting on top of the control arm, which can also be used for hydraulics. There is no pocket to get in the way of the airbag side walls, thus no chaffing. The plate for the airbag has slots machined into it to accommodate most air bags.
