Lower Control Arm Del-A-Lum Bushing Lower Control Arm Bushing Chevelle, El Camino, Malibu, Monte Carlo 1964-1966 Part #1011
Control Arms, Bushings, Shafts Lower Control Arm Del-A-Lum Bushing Lower Control Arm Bushing Chevelle, El Camino, Malibu, Monte Carlo 1964-1966 Part #1011
The 1011 kit for Chevelle, El Camino, Malibu and other A-bodies fit 1964, 1965, and 1966 lower a-arms. The bushings are a direct replace. Simply remove the rubber bushings from the stock arm and press the new Del-a-lum bushing in.
Note: There are 3 different lower control arms for 1964-72 models. You have two round style lower arms. Round style refers to the two bushings that are pressed into the control arm. Both bushings will be round. The third design has one round and the other is oval. This arm was the replacement control arm from GM. Global West only manufactures the Del-a-lum bushings for round style arms so you must check your car before ordering. It is best to check both sides because one could have been replaced at one time and it would be a oval type.
To determine if the 1011 is the right bushing kit for your arms. The small bushing measure in between the control arm stamped area will read about 1 5/8 inch diameter. The other in the arm will measure about 1 15/16 inch diameter. If your arm measures 1 5/8 inch diameter and the other measures 1 3/8 inch diameter, you have a later arm (1967-72) then part number will be 1013.
