A huge thanks to Carl for sending us several pictures of his 1968 El Camino at the Pitt Race in Pennsylvania. His car is equipped with the Global West Gen 3 Negative Roll front suspension, upper and lower rear trailing arms, frame braces, steering box and Wilwood brakes.
He says:
As you know, the El Camino has the complete setup of the generation 3 negative roll system up front and the complete bolt in coilover package with the upper and lower trailing arms and frame braces in the rear.
The car also has a 600 steering box and the Wilwood brake package from Global West. So far I have 80 laps on the autocross, 25 laps on a road course and 3800 highway miles in 8 weeks. The total package drives nice, handles great along with the warmed up LS-1 and 6 speed, is a blast to drive. Thanks to Doug and Jim for all of your help getting the suspension and brake package put together!
