1993-2002 Camaro Panhard Rod with Polyurethane on Both Ends Part #PHC-2

1993-02 Control Arms, Torque Arms, Panhard Rod
1993-2002 Camaro Panhard Rod with Polyurethane on Both Ends Part #PHC-2
Global West Suspension sells panhard rods (with polyurethane bushings) for the 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002 Camaro. What are panhard rods? Panhard rods are designed to reduce lateral movement of the rear axle in the chassis. One side attaches to the rear end while the other attaches to the frame or uni-body. The stock panhard rods generally are light duty and tend to deflect when the car is driven hard. Rear axle location is then compromised. Another condition regarding factory rods is that they are non-adjustable in length. Raising or lowering the car requires readjustment of the length in order to center the rear axle under the car. Failure to do so will result in possible tire rubbing on one side or suffer a distinct handling difference between right and left hand turns. Tech Tip: Lowering your 1982-02 Camaro will cause a shift in the rear end toward the passenger side. An adjustable panhard rod is mandatory for re-centering the rear axle. PHC-2 non-adjustable tubular panhard rod is available for stock height vehicles and uses polyurethane bushings with grease fittings for easy lubrication. For more information, watch the video above.
