Global West Suspension sells an adjustable leaf spring mount for 1970-1981 Camaro and Firebird.
LSB-71 leaf spring mount can be used as a direct replacement for the stock leaf mount. The purpose of the mount is to provide clearance for the leaf spring to tilt when using Global Wests CAT5 reverse eye leaf spring kit. A CAT5 leaf spring has a spherical bearings in the spring eyes that allow the leaf spring to tilt. keep the inside tire fully planted on the ground during harsh cornering. If you use the CAT5 without the leaf spring mount, it will stop the leaf from rotating which will cause the spring rate to rise.
So the LSB-71 stops the spring rate in our CAT5 not to rise while having your tires completely on the ground.
LSB-71 comes with the necessary hardware for installation.
