1964-1966 Mustang Tubular Lower A-Arms # TBF-5 (sold as pair)

1964-66 Tubular Arms, Adjustable Strut Rods, Spring Saddles
1964-1966 Mustang Tubular Lower A-Arms # TBF-5 (sold as pair)
Outfit your 1964, 1965, or 1966 Mustang with Global West tubular lower control arms! Global West manufactures tubular arms for Mustang for several reasons. Not just for the performance aspect but because you can service the ball joint or spherical bearing in the control arm without purchasing a new complete arm. The factory stock arm when the ball joint wears out requires a complete replacement. You can get a stock rubber bushing or poly for a replacement but the performance isn't there. Global West arms can be serviced if needed with performance parts and your back in business. These lower arms offer several upgrades over the stock units, they are:
  • Tubular steel is much stronger than stamped steel.
  • The lower arm incorporates a spherical bearing instead of a bushing. The bearing does not allow deflection maintaining alignment unlike stock rubber or urethane. The bearing also allows the arm to pivot up and down without bind, resulting in less wear and tear on the chassis.
  • Global West tubular lower a-arm contains replaceable ball joints. The factory arms require a new replacement when the ball joint wears out. Global West arms do not, just replace the ball joint found at any local parts store.
Global West lower a-arms for Mustangs are powder coated black. They are assembled ready for service when you receive them. Stock strut rods can be used or you can upgrade to our adjustable strut rods part # ASR-4.
