Global West Suspension offers several different leaf spring packages for 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, and 1973 Mustangs. This particular leaf is designed to control wheel hop and is highly recommended for FE 1967 and all 1968-73 Mustangs. No bushings are included with the leaf springs. You can use stock, polyurethane, or Del-a-lum bushings. Global West recommends using Del-a-lum bushings part number 106sh for the best results. The Del-a-lum bushing eliminates lateral movement and has provisions for lubrication. The kit comes with front and rear leaf spring bushings, frame bushings and shackles. Additional Product Information: The spring rate is 160 pounds. The leaf is used for street performance, autocross and drag racing where traction bars are not desired do to ground clearance issues. The spring is capable of handling well into the 400 on the ground horsepower. L-11 leafs lower the rear end 1-1/4 inches from stock ride height. This does not necessarily mean from where your car is now. Many times the originally leafs have sagged over the years so the measurement you are getting will not be accurate.
