Billet Shaft- part # 715
All shafts are made out of billet steel and are supplied with hardware for the shaft, but not for the frame. Standard non-offset shafts are highly recommended if you are using performance Del-A-Lum or polyurethane bushings. The shafts are made to accomidate 5/8 fine threaded locking nuts rather than a factory shaft that uses a 3/8 bolt holding the bushing in place. We have found that using bolt type upper control shafts and performance bushings tend to back the bolt off over time. If you are switching over to Del-A-Lum bushings, nut-type control arm shafts are required. Bolt type upper shafts are commonly found from the early 1970s and older. Shafts carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Excludes 1980-84 Cadillacs
