Global West Suspension manufactures Performance Lowering Rear Multi-Leaf Springs for the 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981 and Camaro. Global West leaf springs lower the right height and provide additional spring rate. We pay attention to the length, material, thickness, clamp location, and types of pads when designing the most effective spring. The Global West Advantage: When using leaf springs from Global West Suspension, they will reduce, if not eliminate, wheel hop during launch! Wheel hop can be a result of many factors; however, springs have a great deal to do with it. Our forward segment of the leaf is designed to control rap up, which if left unchecked, it will cause the leaf to load and unload, resulting in wheel hop. Control excessive squatting. Note: The L-16 Will lower the rear ride height about 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inches. The spring has a softer rate then L-2 or L-3 leafs. L-16 is used for street (cruising) or drag race with traction bar applications.
