1967-69 Front Springs, Shocks, Sway Bar, Coilover
QA1 Double Adjustable Front Shocks (for standard coil springs) sold as a pair --- Part # TD-505
Global West Suspension sells QA1 front double adjustable shocks for the 1967, 1968 and 1969 Camaro. All of the shocks we use are adjustable, either single adjustable (rebound) or double adjustable (bump and rebound). Why use adjustable shocks: We recommend adjustable shocks because you have the ability to fine tune and / or quickly diagnose suspension handling or traction problems. For some street applications, single adjustable shocks are adequate. However, double adjustable shocks will provide a greater value because you can easily adjust the shock to fit the driving style you do. With all the different suspension systems and types of tires on the market, why would you not want to maximize you comfort and performance? Double adjustable shocks will at least give you a shot at it. Simply turn the knob on the left for bump and the amount of nose dive when you hit a bump can be reduced. Note: To much bump will eventually start to deteriorate your ride; if this happens, just back it off a click or two. Rebound refers to how fast the car settles down to the bump. If the car tends to keep oscillating, simply turn the rebound knob (knob on the right) a few clicks and test again. Can you have to much rebound? Yes you can; the car will become less responsive to transitions. Again, just back the rebound down a click or two. There are 19 clicks per adjustment. Adjustments are made easy by simply by turning a knob! If you are into performance, double adjustable shocks should be considered. Note: Installing double adjustable shocks in a stock control arm will require grinding the opening of the arm for the shock to slide through. Global West makes a tubular lower control arm that accommodates the double adjustable shock dimensions from many shock companies, including Viking.
