Subframe Connectors, Monte Carlo Bars, and Export Braces:
Subframes:
Subframe connectors are a important upgrade for your pony car. Subframes add additional support to the chassis by reducing flex. This increases load transfer from front to rear or corner to corner depending on your application. They also improve the integrity of the the uni-body.
 

Benefits and Features:  

1. Global West Subframes are constructed of 1-5/8 diameter seamless .125 wall inch roll cage tubing with 3/16 mounting plates.
2. Most applications do not affect ground clearance.
3. Subframes are long and tie into the strongest area of the chassis.
4. Will not interfere with exhaust. (Excluding side exhaust).
5. Installation will not require the floor pan to be cut.
6. Because subframes are weld on units and not bolt on, chassis rigidity is increased.
7. Powder coated finish.
8. Easy installation.

Mustang 1964-66 non-convertible / Part # 910 ---- $ 164.12 ---- one kit per car

Mustang / Cougar1967-73 convertible / Part # 911C ---- $ 164.12 ---- one kit per car

Note: A small amount of ground clearance will be lost when convertible subframes are used. We prefer
not to cut the additional floor pan that the factory installed. Therefore our subframe butts up to it and that is why a small amount of ground clearance is lost.

Mustangs 1964 through the present have one thing in common: They all need extra chassis support
in the engine compartment. For early Mustangs, Monte Carlo bars and export braces are the ticket.
Global West offers 4 different tower braces for 1964 through 1970 Mustangs. All of our Monte Carlo
bars are equipped with right and left hand rod ends, 3/16 thick tower brackets, and assorted hardware.
Note: We make adjustable length Monte Carlo bars because Mustang towers are never the same
distance from tower to tower. Our bars will always fit.

Features and Benefits:

1. They can be extended or shortened at will and as a consequence, they are always the correct
   length.
2. All Global West Monte Carlo bars use .125 wall tubing for additional strength.
3. Since the bars have rod ends, Working on the engine is easy. Simply unbolt two bolts and the
   bar is out of the way. No need to get into the fender wells and unbolt all those additional
   bolts that some adjustable bars have.

Note: On TS-8 and TS-7, we install a slight bend in the bar over the distributor for clearance. If you
are using an aftermarket distributor or a taller distributor cap, which is higher
than the factory original unit, you will require a Monte Carlo bar
with a slight bend.
