1958-64 Impala Rear Frame Supports

TS-84R and TS-84L frame supports

Note: TS-84L is for the driver side // TS-84R is for the passenger side

TS-84 supports are designed to add strength to the rear frame cross member. The cross member holds the attachment points for the rear upper control arm or arms depending on your frame.  During hard acceleration, the upper control arm is trying to pull away from the frame. Add the vast improvements of tire science and current horsepower; and you can see why your frame could use additional support. Both supports require welding during final installation. There is also no interference between  parking brake cables or exhaust. Both TS-84 braces tuck high up and contour along the floor.

TS-84 braces are sold individually. Some cars have one upper control arm while others have two. We recommend installing both sides, even if you have only one upper control arm.

Part # TS-84R  fits the passenger side only $89.95

Part # TS-84L fits the driver side only $89.95

If you only have one upper control arm the TS-84R is the correct kit to order. You would order both TS-84R and TS-84L if you had two upper control arms.
