Front performance control arm bushings:

We offer several types of bushings: rubber, polyurethane, brass, and Del-a-lum (pronounced della-loom). Unquestionably Del-a-lum bushings are the Top of the line when it comes to suspension control and longevity. They will out last all the other bushings listed. In fact Del-a-lum bushings have a life time warranty to the original purchaser. No other bushing has a warranty that strong.
Del-a-lum bushings are approved for several racing sanctions including NHRA. They are excellent for street, road race, and dirt track applications.

The following chart lists Del-a-lum upper and lower control arms bushings, plus upper control arm shafts. Shaft information is located below the chart.

This table specifies combinations for upper control arm bushing and shafts on 1968-74 Nova.
If you are using a stock upper control arm shaft and Del-a-lum bushings you will need to use Part # 1030 for installation.	For more alignment capability using a stock upper control arm use billet offset upper shaft Part # 702 (2) with Part# 1012 for bushings	If you are using a stock upper control arm and do not what a offset shaft use Part # 709 (2) with Part# 1012 for bushings

Notice about 1012 kits:
Most upper control arm shafts from 1967 through 1969 generally use a 3/8 bolt at the end of the shaft. The 3/8 bolt holds the control arm bushing in place. In order to use Del-a-Lum bushings, the 3/8 bolt must be replaced with a 5/8 stud and slotted hex nut. A cotter pin is used to secure the nut. (The torque required for the slotted nut holding the bushing in place is similar to that of a wheel bearing, therefore a cotter pin must be used for maintaining the setting.)

Part # 1030 comes complete with studs and Del-a-lum bushings. The photo to the left shows how the stud will have to be installed in the shaft. The stud will be pressed in the end of the shaft and then welded. Note: Welding will be required for installing a 1030 kit.

Note: Cars already using aftermarket shafts featuring 5/8 hex nuts will use Part # 1012. (1012 does not come with studs).

Billet cross shafts and offset shafts:

We manufacture two styles of cross shafts, offset and standard. Both shafts may be used in stock or tubular control arms. The shafts are Gold Zinc finish and hardware is supplied with each shaft. All shafts will except standard rubber, poly, or our Del-a-lum bushings.

Part #709 (to the right) fits all 1967-69 Camaro/Firebird standard upper control arms. These shafts are also standard with our tubular upper control arms that are fully assembled.

Offset upper control arm shafts are used to obtain more latitude for alignment settings. These shafts are a good investment if you are using stock upper control arms. More positive caster can be achieved while still maintaining proper camber. They are not necessary with our tubular upper arms.

Note: Global West tubular tubular control arms generally do not require offset shafts. We have built geometry enhancements into the control arm so offset shafts are not needed.
