1968-74 Nova Subframe Connectors and Body Mounts

Body Mount Bushings (Interloc Bushings):

Subframe connectors are used for high performance street and racing applications. It is no secret that tying the car together with subframes not only stiffens the chassis but improves vehicle response.

Benefits and features: 

  1. Subframe connectors that attach to uni-body chassis must be welded.
  2. Subframes on uni-body chassis must extend and attach to the strongest points fore and aft.
  3. If you are installing subframes and rubber bushings are used between the frame and body, stock bushings must be removed and solid bushings installed (Interloc Bushings).
